- Back up the WordPress website and use a staging environment.
- Install and activate Lead Guard Lite or Pro.
- Choose the accountable owner and fallback email.
- Submit a real test inquiry through each production form.
- Open the acknowledgement link from the notification.
- Temporarily shorten the deadline and verify overdue escalation.
- Confirm your SMTP, webhook, cron, privacy, and retention settings.
- Train the team on lead statuses and ownership expectations.
