Quick-start checklist

  1. Back up the WordPress website and use a staging environment.
  2. Install and activate Lead Guard Lite or Pro.
  3. Choose the accountable owner and fallback email.
  4. Submit a real test inquiry through each production form.
  5. Open the acknowledgement link from the notification.
  6. Temporarily shorten the deadline and verify overdue escalation.
  7. Confirm your SMTP, webhook, cron, privacy, and retention settings.
  8. Train the team on lead statuses and ownership expectations.
